Skulls décor is becoming very popular, I think mostly because it is a design that can be very unisex. Which is very important when shopping for seat covers. You may want to have awesome seats on your car or truck but you also want you significant other to comfortable driving the car as well.
Beside the facts that some of the new line of skull seat covers are just freaking cool. My favorite is between the fiery skull and the pink skull with the bow. Okay so the man in my life will probably not like that one. So fiery skull for me, now I have to beside between the red or the blue. Or I guess I could always make my own seat cover and design my own skull graphic which would be also very fun.
Besides just the cool skull car seat cover I also think the comfort and the protection the cover gives to the seat is important. I want to be able to be comfortable in may seat but if I stain my seat covers they are a lot cheaper to replace then if I would have to reupholster a seat cover.

Make Your Own and Create Your Own Design
If you can not find what your looking for you may do well make your own if you have basic sewing skills. You can even add your own designs and graphics to the end product to customize it yourself.
- First measure your seat to get measurements. The best way I have found to make car seat covers is to use an old cover and cut it up to use as a pattern. Even if I can not cut up the other cover I can sketch around it to get a good Idea for shape.
- Buy material and other things you need. Choose a material that can withstand a lot of wear and can be washed easily. Get heavy duty thread and elastic for the sides.
Stretchy material is easier to use when fitting a large seat, especially a back seat. You will need a little extra material at the ends of the pieces to sew panels together and to add elastic to.
- Mark and cut fabric to fit seat covers. Mark the fabric according to the dimensions measured. For non stretchy material a little extra room may need be needed. When working with stretchy material less material is needed. Using a heavy thread sew pieces together.
- Sew elastic on edges of covers to allow it to easily go over seats.
