Updated on April 14, 2013

How Do You Get Bubbles To Glow In The Dark

There are a few different ways to make bubbles glow in the dark. The easiest way and probably the best way is to buy a Glow in the dark bubble solution and follow directions.

You can also use mix bubble solution with glow in the dark washable paint (just make sure to expose paint to black light first.) or bright colored highlighter filling.

Playing bubbles can be a great thing to bring a little fun to an adult party. It can also be a cheap activity for a kids slumber party, even older kids will love it.

My Kids Loved Glow In The Dark Bubbles

Best Glow in The Dark Bubble Maker For Kids

My families first glow in the dark bubble set came from as a door prize from a work training session. I picked it out of the other prizes on the table because my three boys love science and I thought it would be a neat and quick science experiment.

My sons thought the idea of glow in the dark bubbles was just fabulous. They loved taking turned mixing the mixture into the bubbles and creating the glow in the dark mixture.

They had a hard time waiting till it was dark to play outside with the bubbles but as soon as it was dark enough they was out the door dragging us "boring parents" behind them. Since we only had one glow in the dark bubble maker the had to share which was half the fun. One child blew the bubbles while the others tried to catch them.

I was sure glad the glow in the dark bubbles was outside because not only was the ground and the kids covered with glow in the dark mixture but so was I. I was a little concerned at first about the clothes getting stained but the mixture left no residue on clothes after dry and even if I went in the light I could not see that their was something on the clothes. All in all the glow in the dark bubble maker was a fun and cheap activity for the kids and we would do it again. I even bought a friends daughter a pink glow in the dark bubble maker for her birthday knowing she would just love it.
