My 7 year old son got the Scientific Explorer Mind Blowing Science Kit Four Young Scientists for his birthday. While he was not able to really do many experiments without major adult supervision he still loved the kit. He always talks about creating a lab in his room like Jimmy Newtron and this really hit the spot.

He now talks for ever about the "potions he makes". I have noticed that he is not just going through the motions because days later he will refer to the experiment and what he learned from the experiment.
